decisions poems

Telephone Call | Colleen Riehl

The cavernous echo
of silence
on the telephone
exacerbated by
every ticking moment.
Rapid mental perusal..
erratic breathing
as monumental decisions
hastily..
to be made.

Manifesto | Stan Morrison

I could check out at anytime
I’m not waiting for it t’happen
I’d miss out if I didn’t kiss you
But if I don’t, it’ll never happen
No good chances ever pass me by
Carpe diem always finds me ready
Second chances rarely come along
Next, what’s gonna be next I decide
You’d better get that in your soul
