Day in Court | R Soos

not having
or dealing with
thoughts
seems the way to go
feelings have taken over
and seem worthless
in this Texas sun
oppressive heat
burning through skin
to the full heart
left dying within
these unspoken words
the power to scream
the names of oppressors
with strength and anger
quickly fades fearlessly
into obscure indifference
