She dreamed about it, day and night,
Knowing it was too good to be true.
Wanting for it to happen with all her might,
But being practical was her virtue.
Some told her to pray, others to visualize
Saying, work your way, don’t see left or right.
Work she did, day and night,
On her goal, though not in sight.
One day, her dream stared her in the face
She was too numb to react,
“Dreams do come true. I can’t believe it, “, she cried
“Maybe, I was too afraid I’d fail”, she said and smiled.
