Crimson and flaming red, Orange and ocher bright
Waiting, waiting for the sun to rise:
Slowly, the dark departs,
A range of mountain peaks
Behind the clouds that part
On snowy tops, a rosy glow
Glory above and awe below.
Two thousand eyes to stare,
A thousand aha’s sound
Lifting hearts and minds
To heaven from this ground.
