Play Toy | JD DeHart

Childish romp becomes a quick fight,
but the conflict dissipates, a toy tossed,
catching the lip, bringing wound,
such violent play. A war beginning
in the sandbox, toy soldiers crawling
while the plastic plane rat-tats overhead.
