Twilight then Dusk – A Poem by G. S. Katz

Twilight then dusk
It centers me
We should be on the veranda
Quiet lovers
A glass of wine for you
Chilled vodka in a martini glass
for me
Straight up
Just like us
A horizon created out of need
Delicately continuing
into the blissful dawn
