I am beginning
to see glimpses
of the end
and I think
maybe there
is no such thing
and this is all
really a circle
like a promise ring
and the finale
is yet another
starting gate
for the white stallions of fate
to take us somewhere
truly great
or I could be wrong
about the last note
of this swan song
and instead
after the black depth
of that final night
we catch a red-eye flight
which will disappear
into a Bermuda triangle
where all mysteries
will untangle
if you tilt your head
slightly to the right
you will see
that from this angle
at the end of the tunnel
there is light
