King Aries | Christie-Luke Jones

An arrowhead through fizzing air,
Lands square in time-worn timber.
Quivers proudly in feathered pomp,
With glow of waxing spring.
And bronze-clad bow from whence it loosed,
Lies sheathed beneath a cherry tree,
Whose blossom kisses light and pink,
Hint at sweet and tender fruit.
