Like It Lump It | Cattail Jester

There comes a time
when you are who you
are
People decide who they
are too
Forget the politics
the pretty shows, the fireworks
all the flowing words
Forget the backyard parties
rife with rumor and dissent
There comes a time when
it is like it, lump it
this is who I am.

Others | Pow

The happiest people, Have the saddest stories.
The ugliest people, Have the most beautiful moments.
The bad people, Have the real truth
The good people, Fight for the truth.

Broken | William Swales

ALONE BY FAULT
AN OPEN WOUND
UNHEALED DIRTY
FILLED WITH SALT

JUST WAITING WANTING
FORSAKEN ALONE
WANDERING SEARCHING
A PLACE, HOME

COLD, SCARED
SCARRED
BUT YEARNING
HEART WAITING, BARRED

ADDICTED I THINK
MISSING THE PAIN
MY HEART MY SLEEVE
THE BLOOD THE STAIN

A BARREN SHELL
COVERED IN SKIN
SELECTIVE PICKY
WHO I LET IN

BUT I MISS YOU
PAIN HEARTBREAK
YOU MUST BE SPECIAL
FOR MY FUTURE ACHE

Mutiny | Edgar Law

My hand will not
Do as I wish
My eye travels
To the place I would
Not go
They all rise up
Each part
Each segment
To overthrow me.

Lathe | Nate Maye

I turn
and turn
an image,
I chip
away what
does not
look like me
my vision
until there
is barely
a visible line
toothpick thin.
