Lovely Nature | Mantri Pragada Markandeyulu

Feel happy at the natural sites
Pleasantness comes in life
Feel happy at river-flow site
One’s ideas flow like water flow

Pray my Nature God for my birth
Godness is beautiful nature
Nature belongs to living beings
Preserve my beauty land

I feel happy to adores my nature
My loving the nature, is my loving the Universe
My breathing the oxygen, is my living the life
I can’t pack the air, but for my deeds

Beauty lies in the farm land
Waterfalls is the life-line
Life’s happiness is the river flows
Not pollute the water and air

Am here in this glittering world
Nature has compositions
Nature knew its compositions well
Nature has hidden healing powers

Avoid and avoid, conflicts and combats
Minds vary from leader to leader
Hope to be optimistic for peace and tranquility
Don’t suggest for gun and bomb battles

People in power, can’t act fast
Power is not for combats and conflicts
Souls weep if lives are lost
Cursing can ruin the heredity’s soon

Diamond Life | Kathy J. Anderson - Contemporary Poetry Website Featuring Notable Poems

Diamond Life | Kathy J. Anderson

The cosmos is inside us
Yet we try to hide from the dark,
Spark of life is dust
From universal birth…

Enjoy the spark of waking up,
New light of day begins to play,
Never fear the past, it can’t last,

Forget and renew
With open eyes, inside and outside
Outer life comes to view,
View your plans instead of fretting
No getting that headache
Just think of the journey
And how you’ll feel
When the womb of dark sparks fiery thoughts,
Let no one take this from you!

Transverse | Diane Woodward Dorff

the stars sing far above
the boundaries of my life
beyond my ragged thoughts
blinking and flaring
starlight traveling
for light years
distance and time and space
inconsequential
lights streaking across the sky
throwing endings and beginnings
touching and linking
with streaks of starlight
a web of luminous thread
capturing in streams of light
the cadence of starry music

A Thought on the Reality of Humanity | Saarthak Haldar - Contemporary Poetry Website Featuring Notable Poems

A Thought on the Reality of Humanity | Saarthak Haldar

In a lonely night
Beneath the star light
Flooded by ocean of thoughts
In a whirlpool, i was caught.

Imagining about life’s mysteries,
about death and so much miseries.

How to solve? Human imagination hasn’t reached.
As in our lives, so much problems and weaknesses.
For its solution, from God, we beseeched.

This thought, then, came into my mind.
So weak, inferior, evanescent, how can humans think, they are superior of all kinds.

As Master of universe, we behave.
And think, nature is our slave.
For power and territory, we have lust.
We always forget, we are just a star dust.

So much of bloodshed.
So much wars, humans have led.
Just for power and piece of land.
Only to be transferred, another one’s hand.

Time will come,
we will lose our greed, pride, with our senses.
And then, will be forgotten,
our transient existence.

Hence, will be end of human civilization,
in fraction of seconds compared to the cosmic age.
And in this vast cosmic arena,
only earth will be left as a very small stage.

In this infinite, never ending universe,
where human thoughts never been.
There, earth is just like a mote of dust,
suspended in a sunbeam.
